England's Jonathan Trott and James Anderson contain increase to 2nd place in the Reliance ICC Test Rankings next their side's 196-run achievement over India on Monday at Lord's.

Jonathan Trott has mount two places, over India's Sachin Tendulkar and Sri Lanka's Kumar Sangakkara, to second spot in the batting rankings, following his innings of 70 and 22 in the 2000th Test in the past which was the opportunity game of the 4th -match series.

James Anderson’s 7th -wicket haul in the match, including his 11th five-wicket Test haul of 5-65 in the second innings, has seen him go past colleague Graeme Swann in the bowling rankings, with a new career most excellent ranking rating.

Kevin Pietersen, whose superb victorious double century earned him the Man of the Match Award, has returned to the top 20, climbing 14 places to joint 15th in the rankings next to Rahul Dravid, who raised 7th  places following his winning first innings hundred.

Chris Tremlett's picked up 4th wickets in the match contain helped him to 9th place in the rankings, also achieving a new career best rating, while Stuart Broad climbs up in to the four places to link Harbhajan Singh, who fall in to four places, in compassionate 11th place. Stuart Board has played very well in the 1st test match at lord’s againt India he picked up  four wicket in the first innings and three wicket in the second innings and also got a half century in the second innings that’s why his ranking is raised up  to fifth ranking in the all-rounders ranking table.

India motionless has two bowlers in the top ten of the rankings; with Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma deceitful in fifth and seventh place correspondingly as in the batting top 10, next to with Sachin Tendulkar, India have VVS Laxman in 7th at the same time as Virender Sehwag, who missed the Lord's Test from end to end injury, has dropped to 10th.
